Kazumizi is the Enfiaré studio. A garment carries a line that makes a stranger think, and the sale funds the work with the hardest, most useful kind of support: unrestricted dollars. This is the one division that pays for the other three, and it does it by putting an idea on your chest that a person can read across a room.
The arc the brand carries
From scars to roots
The small one, still becoming, finds beauty in themselves, and turns into roots for others. That sentence is the whole studio in one breath. A foundation to stand on, a self worth becoming, and the strength in time to become someone else’s foundation. Every piece that ships answers to it.
The name carries two readings, and the studio keeps both. Read as a pattern: ka, zu, mi, zi, the one still becoming, beautiful in self, multiplying into many, with mizizi, the Swahili for roots, sitting inside the whole word. Read as architecture, it is the four pillars below. A person comes up out of a hard place, finds their footing, and then holds the ground for the next person coming up behind them.
