Make homelessness history, and mean it
A person without a home is not a problem to be managed. They are a neighbor waiting on a door that should have been open already. Enfiaré exists to open that door, to walk with them through it, and to change the systems that kept it shut.

The name is a breath given to something so it can rise. That is the whole intent, carried in one word: to put life back into a person, and to help a life expand past the place it was trapped.

The Dignity Economy
From transactional to relational
Every part of this work is one move made over and over: away from a mindset that asks what it gets back for what it gives, and toward one that starts from how plainly we are tied to each other. Your neighbor’s stability is your community’s health. We lead in public with the same point in plain accounting: dignity is an investment, not a cost, because it costs far more to leave a person on the street than to house them. The blade stays sharp. It costs too much not to.

Dignity is infrastructure, not a favor
The roof comes first, the way a road or a water line comes first. Sobriety, work, and stability are things a housed person reaches with support, not hurdles they clear to earn a bed.

Hand back the pen
People author their own next chapter. Good support returns the pen to the person rather than writing the story for them.

Relationship before transaction
Start from interdependence. A real connection does more than a processed case, and it lasts longer than a single service.

Tell the truth, and tell it with dignity
Say what is real, plainly, and say it in a way that honors the person hearing it. Honesty and respect are the same practice here.

Reach people before the street does
Prevention and diversion, so that fewer people ever face a first night outside. The cheapest night to prevent is the one that never happens.

Hold to sufficiency: there is enough
Move from scarcity to enough. There is room, and there is supply, when a community decides to share what it already has.

On a single night in 2025, the federal count found roughly 745,652 people without a home. The total fell for the first time since 2016, driven by a sharp drop in family homelessness. In the same count, chronic homelessness reached a record high. Both things are true. The work bends the curve, and the work is far from done.

How we cite
We scope our cost argument to the chronic, high-utilizer population, where the math plainly holds, and we attribute contested claims to their source rather than stating them as settled. The credibility is the asset, so we would rather be careful than loud.
The four diamonds
One name, four working divisions
The emblem is four diamonds, and the name carries them: EN, FI, AR, É. Three are facets and the É is the keystone, the letter that holds the rest. EN changes the rules. FI builds the means. AR funds the work and shifts the culture. É holds the soul and the longest horizon. Here is each, honest about what exists now and what is still ahead.

An action tank that fuses research, frontline evidence, and direct advocacy into one engine. The intellectual arsenal is real today: roughly fifty Congress-ready bill outlines, a cost-of-inaction case, and the legal argument. The staffed lobbying arm is still ahead.

Enfiaré is at concept-and-pilot stage. The four-division structure is the plan we are growing into, not a description of current headcount, and we say so plainly to funders because that candor is the credibility. A healthy plan leans on no single stream: AR earns unrestricted dollars, EN and É raise through grants and covenant commitments, and FI does both.

SALT — a home that travels, then rises
SALT is the Single Autonomous Locomotive Terminus, and in plainer words it is the reason for the whole build: saving another life today. A compact, self-sustaining dwelling that rides low and aerodynamic, then raises and locks into a full habitat. Units stand alone or snap together into pedestrian-first micro-villages along solar smart-byways. At the center of each is the thing that turns a shelter into a home and a person into a neighbor: a real, mailable address.
- FormHoneycomb panels and origami folds. A hexagonal grid that expands or collapses interior volume.
- TransformationMotor-actuated roof and walls, low in transit and raised for habitat, with a target of roughly thirty seconds to open or close.
- Power & waterA photovoltaic skin with battery storage, rainwater harvest, graywater reuse, and composting sanitation.
- ClustersTwenty to fifty units share solar canopies and exchange surplus power, with wayfinding, air-quality monitoring, and clear emergency egress.
Where the engineering honestly stands
SALT is at concept and prototype-design stage. The make-or-break detail is the weatherproof seal and structural lock at the raised-wall joint, and that work resumes once the target habitat headroom and minimum transit height are set. Cost figures from early drafts are starting points, not supplier quotes, and the on-board autonomy and medicine remain a north-star rather than a near-term build. We would rather show you the real open questions than a render that promises more than the bench has earned.
