The mission grows by the number of people who decide a neighbor without a home is their concern too, and who say so out loud. That decision has a name here. You become a Steward.

Honest about this form
When you sign, what you type is saved to our own database, so the count and the wall are real and they hold steady when we update the site. City and email are both optional. Your first name shows on the public wall only when you check the box, and your email never appears there at all. Alongside what you type, the system keeps a scrambled fingerprint of the connection and your browser’s identification string, which is how spam gets spotted and removed; neither is ever displayed. None of it has ever been sold or traded. The privacy page lists everything we collect, every outside service your browser talks to on this site, and how to have your record changed or removed.

The pledge is the first step, and it is real standing, not a mailing-list signup. Past it, the emblem itself becomes the record of your contribution. The diamond fills as you show up, the way the founder’s own first hours filled his. Nobody skips the outline.

What standing means, plainly
This is co-ownership of the mission, not financial equity, and no one earns a payout from showing up. Inside the Assembly, one member holds one vote, whether they carry two hundred hours or two thousand. Hours open the door, and past the door everyone is equal. The Assembly begins as an advisory body whose resolutions the board formally receives and answers in writing. Some contributions resist a clock, so equivalency credits honor a completed training, a delivered artwork, or a semester of service. The ladder is built to lift, never to gate.
